Based on the readings I would have to say that I agree that there is starting to be an oversupply of college graduates and that some degrees are becoming useless. I personally don't think students should skip college for that reason though. There are plenty of degrees that you can get from BU alone that can get you far in your career. I feel that people should pick a degree based on their interests, strengths, and factor in job outlook. Although I feel that the articles are somewhat true, I also feel the opposite. There is a market for anything that is listed as a major at these schools. If there were no jobs then there wouldn't be a major for it. Lastly, all jobs are hard to land at first therefore the student should do plenty of extracurricular activities to build up an undeniable resume.
